Courtney Boyd (3rd-5th)

Hi!

I’m Ms. Boyd, and I’m one of the school counselors here at Southridge Elementary! I was born and raised in Tyler, Texas and spent the past 10 years in San Antonio, where I worked as both an elementary teacher and a school counselor. I recently moved back to North Texas to be closer to family, and I’m grateful to now call this community home again. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Education from UT Arlington, master’s in Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a master’s in Counseling from Angelo State University. Outside of school, this is my seventh year as an Air Force Reservist and I love traveling around the world whenever I get the chance. I’m looking forward to an incredible year of learning, connection, and growth with our Rockets! 🚀
